I have over 25 years of experience in IT-business. Since 1987 I have done everything related to software business, starting from plain coding to leading a business unit and building a new site in a new country for a software company. Lately I have taken care of staffing, scheduling and recruiting in a large international company. On the technical point of view my skill set include C/C++, C#, XAML, Modern UI, and Java.

Senior Consultant, staffing and scheduling

My main task was to match the requirements of projects to the needs of people. To achieve this I needed to keep track of skills and goals of each individual. On the other hand close communication with sales team was essential. Recruitment was also a natural enhancement to my role, because in my role as scheduler, I was aware of the future needs and trends of which skills will be needed in the near future. I also assisted in some accounts in extending the contracts and directly staffing the engagements.

My role continued from Nokia-projects, because the group I was in, was transferred from Nokia to Accenture as is. I acted as a team lead/scrum master. The task of the team was customization of certain features for the needs of different products.

Project manager/ScrumMaster/Product owner in a project involving customization of certain features for the needs of different products. Technologies involved included Symbian, Series60, censors, C++.

01/2001 – 11/2008 Ixonos Oy (previously Vega Technologies)

Project Manager

Vega Technologies was a startup company, acquired later by Tieto-X. The name was changed to Ixonos on 2006. My duties started from recruiting the developers for Symbian -development. In early stages of Vega I participated on sales, too. I acted as a project manager on number of projects around Symbian. When Ixonos decided to establish an office in Kosice, Slovakia, I was selected to recruit and train our developers there. The assignment lasted one year. Other duties during Ixonos included:

• Supervision (support for project managers) of several projects

• Test management, coordination of testing teams

• Project management, software design and implementation.

Design and implementation of a Jcad application.

Design and implementation of Windows application for managing facilities of communities and other instances with large amount of facilities. Project location was Karlsruhe, Germany.

Design and implementation of risk management application for Windows. This project was part of EU-funded Bootstrap project. Project was located in Paris, France.
